蒸糕—Caramel Steam Cake

最近到处网上游走发现蒸糕还蛮流行的。
种类也很多,还有一个Sarawak Seri Kaya Steam Cake 也很多人在找。
我也找到一个有关Seri Kaya 的食谱。。。可是还没打算做。因为材料也还真多 。
不想开电炉。所以做这个N 公司给的食谱 Caramel Steam Cake

这个蒸糕也很不错, 很香很松软。我临时加了买豆奶附送的“黑糖浆”。超级的香。
照片是第一次蒸的,有开口。第二次作的没有开口,我比较喜欢。
可惜没有拍照。

  1. Caramelise sugar in a saucepan over low heat until golden brown. Then remove from heat.
  2. pour hot water onto caramel and bring to a boil again until completely melted and syrup is obtained. Allow syrup to cool.
  3. Pour 150 ml of syrup into a measuring cup as needed. If less, add a little water to make up the specified quantity.
  4. Add melted butter, evaporated milk and the beaten egg to the cooled caramel syrup. Mix well.
  5. Sift flour and bicarbonate soda into mixing bowl. Add sugar and salt to taste. Make a well in the centre and pour in syrup mixture. Stir until mixture becomes a smooth batter.
  6. Lightly grease mould and spoon mixture in. Place in a preheated steamer for 30 minutes or until cake rises and skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
